- Display devices and decorative applications
How to Choose Parameters for Reciprocating Swing Motors?
Option 1:
Tell us three key parameters:
- The swing angle you need
- The number of reciprocations per minute (frequency)
- The torque required
We will help you select the right motor based on these three factors.
Option 2:
Read the full description below and choose the parameters that match your application.
1. About the Swing Angle
The swing angle is adjustable, but torque varies with the angle. The larger the swing angle, the lower the torque. Please consider the weight of your load when selecting.
2. Speed and Torque with a Speed Controller
The speed you select when ordering is the motor's maximum speed. The controller can only reduce the speed, not increase it.
⚠️ Important: Torque decreases as speed is reduced. Do not only focus on high speed; choosing the right speed for your load is critical.
3. Speed and Torque Without a Speed Controller
Without a controller, the motor runs at the rated speed you selected when ordering. You can find the corresponding torque value in the specification table under "Load Torque by Stroke".
⚠️ Note: Torque and power vary with different speeds and angles.
Motor Usage Instructions
- Do not exceed the maximum load (including stall conditions). Damage caused by stalling is not covered under warranty.
- Use a DC power supply that matches the motor's rated input voltage (DC 12V/24V). Overvoltage or undervoltage operation is prohibited.
- When the load torque equals the rated torque, the motor runs at the rated speed. If the actual load exceeds the rated value, the output speed will decrease accordingly.
- When selecting the motor, use the rated torque as the primary reference and avoid overloading.
- Operating near or beyond the maximum load torque may damage the motor's internal components.
- Reducing the motor speed directly decreases the output torque. Please evaluate your application requirements in advance.
- The motor will produce operating noise (in dB). Minor variations in noise level with changes in speed and load are normal.
